 The purpose of this position is to support our Direct Sales team through generation and qualification of leads. This role requires working closely with the sales team to meet and exceed targets and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Create new opportunities for sales team and/or account managers by creating and filtering new target lists
  • Drive demand in specific territories through focused telephone campaigns
  • Cultivate leads by assessing the unique opportunities and laying out the value proposition for customers
  • Conduct a needs analysis to meet the end users requirements
  • Ensure consistent and ongoing coverage of account or territory assignments based on your understanding of your sales opportunities
  • Understand all products and work closely with sales person
  • Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction within the accounts

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in a successful telesales/inside sales role is mandatory
Good communication skills in English are essential, in both written and oral form
Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a multi-national environment

Role Purpose

Responsibilities

Qualifications

· Organizational skills and an ability to quickly build rapport, as well as be a good decision-maker, problem solver, multi-tasker.

The Risk Sales Specialist is a front-line quota-carrying resource responsible for the sale of Risk solutions to a series of named accounts.

Responsible for specialist support of the wider Account Management division, new customer acquisition and penetration of current customers through incremental sales of GRC products and services.

This person will be able to demonstrate depth of knowledge around markets, geography and subject matter.

Key responsibilities include:

· Meet overall territory sales goal
· Meet solution specific goals
· Meet strategic goals (e.g. Sales to flagship accounts, increased vertical penetration, support of the Account Management team etc)
· Deliver powerful presentations to clients around the RISK business, current market challenges and how our solutions meet these challenges.
· Increased penetration of Risk solutions and services into existing accounts

Duties and responsibilities:

· Strategic Planning: Develop and execute against strategic account plans with the Account Management team.
· Solution Sales: Drive solution sales for all RISK solutions and services within an assigned territory or set of named accounts.
· Client Relationships: Gains customer acceptance by explaining RISK value propositions. Leverages knowledge of industry challenges and opportunities to build trust and respect with current and future customers.
· Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as a critical team member of the RISK sales team. Collaborate with multiple Account Managers, Specialists, Sales Engineers, and customers at one time.
· Forecasting and Reporting: Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform management's strategic decision-making.

Sample of Key performance indicators:

· Achievement of quarterly and annual sales target across designated solutions sold.
· Securing and demonstrating at a minimum of 20 client meetings per month.
· Accurate forecasting of written business.

Qualifications

Job Specific Skills/Experience:

· Industry Knowledge: 5-10 years experience working in a team selling environment.
· Deep understanding of Risk sector (Governance, Risk and Compliance) is strongly desired  and (or) experience in the corporate or financial sector with exposure to Compliance functions.
· Business Acumen - Proficient at uncovering key business issues and providing insightful,
actionable recommendations for improvement and then linking through to solutions to drive a commercial conversation.

Qualifications:

· Educated to degree level with a MBA being advantageous.
· Industry based qualification such as ACAM’s is advantageous.
· The role is English based, however Arabic speaking is an advantage.

Role Purpose

Working closely with the Global Head of Market Development for Corporate, this role is responsible for managing proposition development initiatives for the Corporate vertical for Thomson Reuters across emerging markets (‘GGO’), as well as acting as the central liaison for Corporate solution toolkit development and deployment.  This role will be based on a robust understanding of market dynamics, customer needs and our capabilities, and translated into detailed proposition and customer strategies to be implemented in collaboration with regional and business teams.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with Corporate customers, market participants and internal stakeholders to validate proposition needs and opportunities across GGO markets
  • Lead the consolidation of understanding on Corporate customers’ needs across GGO markets, working alongside frontline teams to develop market awareness
  • Manage Corporate-focused proposition development activities across GGO and the enterprise alongside regional teams and the relevant business units to bring capabilities to bear in enabling corporations to capitalize on opportunity, navigate complexity & risk, optimize operations and amplify their impact in the new global reality.
  • Act as the key liaison between GGO Corporate Market Development and regional GGO teams in ensuring the alignment of initiatives, and consistency of application, in proposition development
  • Act as the key liaison between our central business units and GGO, ensuring the consistent and aligned development of our propositions to Corporate customers. Lead the Corporate Center of Excellence (CoE) team and the cross BU strategy, execution and adoption of the go to market and solutions toolkit into customer conversations.
  • Manage the development, deployment and maintenance of Corporate strategic sales & marketing collateral for external and internal use
  • Lead engagement directly with clients in the messaging of Thomson Reuters Corporate propositions, working alongside frontline sales teams
  • Work with frontline teams to consolidate , identify elements of sales and
  • Present areas for market or proposition development to senior management across Thomson Reuters and lead any subsequent development initiatives
  • Liaise and coordinate with corporate affairs / PR teams in Thomson Reuters on a regular basis, ensuring delivery of a consistent message around our Corporate capabilities and engagement

Scope and Impact

This position is global in nature as it is responsible for managing the proposition development and deployment strategy for our Corporate business across emerging markets. This will involve significant time spent ‘on site’ in GGO markets of focus, engaging with customers and colleagues to both validate opportunities and pitch to customers, through to proposition development and deployment, and the management of Corporate-focused solution toolkits across GGO.  In addition, travel will be required to core Thomson Reuters locations and international conferences/seminars.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Economics/ Law/International Relations/Business

MBA or Masters Degree Preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 7+ years working in a strategy, business development, sales and/or market development role, ideally with prior experience of GGO
  • Must have excellent communication/interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a track record of engaging with and presenting to senior management
  • Strong consulting/strategy/advisory background preferred
  • Experience in Financial, Legal, Tax, IT and News Media industries preferred
  • Experience of Corporate business(s) within Thomson Reuters is a distinct advantage, as is prior experience working in emerging markets
  • An understanding of Thomson Reuters enterprise capabilities across business units is critical to success in this role
  • Fluency in key languages of GGO territories (e.g. Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic) is an advantage, but not essential

Thomson Reuters is looking for a New Business Executive. The role is responsible for selling our entire suite of products across all segments. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of both the buyside and sellside in the region and have gained significant experience selling to these sectors there, in either a data vendor or financial services capacity. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in B2B sales.

The New Business Executive generates new business opportunities and closures, by taking qualified leads from multiple sources including prospectors and, over the telephone & social selling, demonstrates Thomson Reuters Financial, Risk, Tax and Legal capabilities to new customers, develops proposals, negotiates contracts and finally closes the business. Qualifications

§  Minimum 5 years experience in sales
§  Deep knowledge of financial markets and instruments
§  Strong understanding of FX markets & Commodities & Energy
§  Strong self-motivation with a determination to succeed
§  Ability to consistently achieve targets
§  University degree (minimum BA)
§  Masters’ degree is a plus
§  Fluent in English
