Cheil Australia is hiring Digital Account Manager

Due to ongoing growth in our business and exciting new briefs, we are now seeking a highly motivated individual with solid agency experience to join our team for an initial 12 month contract, working on one of the World’s largest, most loved brands by millennials.


Reporting to the Account Director, the successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the digital landscape, be able to implement digital strategies, ensuring they are reaching their goals increasing conversion and ROI. 


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Manage the development and implementation of digital activities and tactics, working with internal creative, project and digital operations teams.
  • Write creative, design and production briefs that build off the client’s brief or insights garnered from working with internal Data & Strategy team.
  • Develop and execute campaign plans, managing timelines and project plans
  • Compile creative work into agency template and story-telling format for client presentations
  • Champion digital marketing across the business ensuring key updates, trends, new initiatives, growth opportunities and technologies are shared, and the benefit this has within the business
  • Develop and enhance greater efficiency and effectiveness across all digital channels (E-commerce, Web, Digital Display, Social, EDMs], supporting in the development of robust and solid measurement frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of ad spends across channel mix.
  • Manage, develop and build strong relationships with existing clients, new clients and key partners
  • Manage account finances, developing job estimates, raising and supplying POs, manage project budgets and job reconciliations, and raising draft invoices for works undertaken
  • Own and manage the account/client status report
  • Keep up to date with industry knowledge, trends and new digital technologies  



Qualifications and Experience


  • 2-4+ years min. experience in a similar role within an agency environment
  • An understanding of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), content management systems, HTML, Javascript, CSS is advantageous
  • A good ability to write concise, clear and well- articulated creative briefs and Scope of Work documents
  • Exposure to web usability, information architecture, Web analytics knowledge (Adobe analytics or Google analytics) combined with exceptional Excel skills
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, managing and executing projects with the digital space
  • Able to manage project resources and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing deadlines and time estimates
  • Advanced knowledge working within a digital team to deliver reporting, understanding digital metrics across display, video, social, programmatic
