Job Opening for Senior Digital Marketing Manager with Delta Partners

Job description

Position Summary:

To meet Delta Partners’ continued progression and customized research requirements, Delta Partners’ Intelligence Unit (IU) is expanding its research team to meet global research requirements in our three distinct business lines. The regional TMD Associate will have the opportunity to collaborate with an international team dedicated to research, intellectual capital development and knowledge management. The position is located in Dubai, UAE.

The role supports the Head of Intelligence Unit in creating value within research, providing quantitative backing and qualitative insights, as well as to improve the efficiency and service delivery within the Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary and secondary research within the Telecoms, Media and Digital (TMD) verticals
  • Analyse industry and market trends primarily on the South East Asian cluster as well as developing global perspectives on emerging TMD trends in other developed and developing markets
  • Work with quantitative market sizing and forecasting analytical tools
  • Prepare thorough and well-organized research findings, with concise summary and conclusion
  • Well informed of industry standards and best practice techniques. Expand industry networks where possible to
  • enhance core knowledge through industry experts
  • Lead specific intellectual capital (IC) development initiatives with internal subject matter experts
  • Identify and develop TMD benchmarks relevant to our IC Practices and Competencies
  • Play a strategic role in developing, managing and maintaining the intellectual capital and knowledge efforts
  • Seek to develop and continuously improve internal processes within the scope of the Intelligence Unit (IU)
  • Guide junior team members on their overall personal development 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • University degree or equivalent, and experience in business and/or equity research in the TMD verticals 
  • At least 6-7 years of relevant experience in an analytical role with excellent analytical skills 
  • Relevant work experience in research is strongly preferred 
  • Geographic and industry-specific knowledge is a strong advantage 
  • Leverage internal and external resources to provide relevant and timely insights 
  • Creative and exhaustive in overall research delivery 
  • Ability to prioritise and make timely communications on research delivery 
  • Passionate, committed, flexible and willing to push the research boundaries 
  • Multiple language skills will be an added advantage (e.g. French, Spanish, Portuguese and others) 
  • Willingness to explore and drive knowledge initiatives with an entrepreneurial mindset 
  • Ability to discuss and analyze technical issues – and challenge when necessary 
  • Aptitude for business analysis and quantitative analysis 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively 
  • Pro-actively develop intellectual capital and manage research initiative 
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills 
  • Sound experience with telecom-related databases and information resources

Technical:

Proficient in Microsoft 365 and Office Applications: Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Knowledge of Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, GSMA Intelligence, Ovum, TeleGeography and other TMD-related databases
