GFI Software is looking for an Earned Media Specialist with expert knowledge of social media and other outreach platforms, and with experience in creating and maintaining influencer relations and other connections that contribute to acquisition of top of funnel leads. You will be in charge of amplifying the efforts of the GFI Software’s Owned Media team through the use of social media, content recommendation and native advertising platforms, along with building and maintaining relations with influencers, bloggers and specialized media.
The job requires experience in social media account management, as well as profound knowledge of various platform specifics, such as costs, formats and other variables related to online promotion. Also, it requires excellent communication skills, with a heavy dose of creativity and a strong focus on results and new opportunities in the earned media area. Key Responsibilities
3+ years of experience in managing social media accounts and ad campaigns (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Experience in email marketing and inbound marketing
Experience in managing native advertising campaigns
Demonstrated advanced knowledge and understanding of social media, native advertising and content recommendation platforms
Previous experience with technology sector and IT companies and knowledge of the IT industry is highly desired
Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Outstanding writing and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently without close supervision
Advanced analytical skills with knowledge of important tools for this position (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager…)
Proficient computer user, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel)
Excellent spoken and written English skills, any additional languages are considered a plus

Key Responsibilities
- Development and management of earned media activities, such as influencer relations, social media community management, online community engagement, and media outreach
- Support of earned and owned media activities through social media ads, and native advertising and retargeting
- Cross-functional work with other departments, such as Owned Media and Product Marketing, on defining and achieving campaign targets, with special focus on amplifying owned media
- Continuous analysis and optimization of adopted strategies and operational tactics
- Daily management of company’s social media and online community profiles, and engagement with industry influencers
- Periodical reporting on all activities and success rate against previously set KPI’s
- Discovery, testing and evaluation of new platforms for achieving marketing campaign goals

- 4+ years of experience in community management, influencer relations and media pitching (agency experience preferred)
