Job Purpose

Investment analyst is responsible to
Assist IBG team members in execution of investment banking projects by conducting research, financial analysis, preparing presentations and reports
Assist corporate finance group in managing strategic equity investments portfolio for ADCB

The nature of work largely focuses on industry and company analysis, valuation of companies, helping to structure transaction and to negotiate deal execution.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Assist senior IBG team members in re-structuring of companies in financial distress
• Assist senior IBG team members in transaction execution process:
• Prepare summary information on proposed transactions
• Undertake Financial analysis as required
• Prepare or analyze cash flow forecasts, business plans and financial models
• Build Financial Models for each Investment opportunity being looked at
• Analyze client business plans, debt capacity, competitive positioning and strategy, key-contracts and agreements
• Apply business, economics, finance, accounting and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines
• Prepare complex cash flow projections to model business processes
• Prepare pitch books and presentations for client meetings
• Assist in preparation of transaction specific credit papers
• Assist IBG Colleagues with client meetings, research, information gathering etc.
• Significant client interaction at multiple levels as and when required
• Preparation of and participation in management presentation and new business presentations
