In this newly created role, the incumbent will ensure retention and profitable growth of an account portfolio within an assigned territory, through a combination of both in person customer visits, and sales/service phone calls. This role represents excellent opportunity for new sales professionals to grow and develop their skills within a challenging foodservice environment, reporting to the Regional Manager, and working in collaboration with the regional Territory Representatives, Distribution and National Account Managers.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Achieve regional sales targets to ensure continuous growth within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to drive consumption within the existing accounts.
  • Daily call visits on a 12 week call cycle for identified accounts 
  • Sales/Services calls on a 12 week cycle for identified accounts 
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the channel. 
  • Support Territory Sales Representatives on daily activities of our food & beverage business.
  • Identify solutions based opportunities within their customer portfolio.
  • Work in partnership with the Territory Sales Reps and Distribution/ National Account team to support business initiatives and new branded products launches. 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • Minimum of one year direct sales experience, preferably within the foodservice industry.
  • Previous foodservice culinary /beverage operational experience a definite asset.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills combined with strong communication skills 
  • Computer literacy, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Strong analytical skills, combined with a solid understanding of the sales process.
  • Self-motivated and team oriented.
  • Must reside within the territory and travel as required based on territory12 week cycle and business requirements.
  • Valid Driver’s license with a safe driving record required.
  • Must have access to a safe and reliable vehicle, along with appropriate insurance.
