A normal day for the Financial Writer could include team brainstorming sessions, assisting with content strategy, researching topics, conducting interviews, and wrangling numbers. Strong web content knowledge required; more importantly, experience writing in the financial field is a must!

- The writer who fills this position should have:
- A great attitude and high work ethic.
- At least two years of experience in finance writing/reporting.
- Professionally published (print or online) writing samples. (sorry, personal blogs don’t count!)
- Thorough understanding of financial concepts.
- The ability to respond quickly to news events, explaining to consumers how it affects them.
- The mindset to think beyond the news, detecting trends, digging up data and predicting unintended consequences and benefits.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (both English and Arabic), including the ability to interact with all levels of staff and management.
- Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Write engaging content, including online and social media posts, articles and press releases.
- Act as a writing resource, ensuring high quality and accurate materials are being produced by the company.
- Keep up-to-date with developments in financial markets
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry sources.

- At least two years of experience in personal finance reporting/writing.
- Intelligent, charismatic, motivated, positive, enthusiastic.
- Must be able to speak and write in Arabic and English to a high level.
