In this role you will be responsible for day to day management of area development inc. Landscaping Soft and Hard, will also manage service providers, with the candidate being confident to work independently and taking responsibly for their areas assigned. To support the work of the department in service monitoring and supplier management, ensuring that the required standards are maintained both front (FOH) and back of House (BOH).To provide administrative support to enable the Facilities department to function effectively and efficiently.

In this role you will be responsible for day to day management of area development inc. Main Duties:
- Respond effectively to all telephone queries and complaints, using effective listening, questioning and problem-solving skills.Carry out weekly BOH and FOH walk rounds, ensuring the building fabric is in good order, noting any defects and raising with HOD
- Coordinate follow up on action items
- Assist the Facilities Manager to monitor service standards in Front of House areas, including catering, cleaning and rest rooms
- Monitor the active jobs logged on the helpdesk, to include the onside CAFM system maintained by DPR Call Centre
- Recommend to the Facilities Manager improvements that could be made to the cleaning and MEP Services
- Review and make recommendations to maintain building integrity, maintaining accurate records as required
- Liaise with building contractors to follow through on approved work
- Liaise with engineering inspectors to ensure all service providers remains compliant to DPR policies
- Assist in the compliance of existing Health and Safety policy, safe working practices and DPR best practice, liaising closely with the Head of department, Health & Safety Mangers
- Attend regular management meetings with in house suppliers and note follow up actions as required
- Operate and maintain an effective filing system for the department
- Manage and maintain the ‘control of contractor’ register, to include liaising with the technical and production team along with external provider
- Obtain monthly reports from various suppliers outlining the service used or provided
- Ensure building plans are kept up to date
- Provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager, arranging meetings, filing and opening post
- Provide administrative support for departmental meetings, including preparing and circulating agendas, taking minutes and monitoring agreed actions
- Attend Facilities meetings and record minutes

In order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:
Essential:
- A minimum qualified professional, and have a Certificate Level of Qualification as a minimum
- Likely to have 2-5 years Facilities management experience
- Sufficient experience of providing a facilities or maintenance service in a busy organization
- Experience of working with contractors and suppliers and monitoring of service standards
- Proven experience of delivering excellent customer care and service in a large organization
- Experience of complaints handling and follow up procedures
- Enthusiasm and commitment to learn about and get involved in the department’s activities
- The ability to deal tactfully, calmly and effectively with a wide range of people from within and outside the organization
- Worked in a multi-cultural organization
- Good numeracy skills, ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently
- Strong computer skills with competency in Microsoft Office and database packages; experience of accurate data entry
Desirable:
- Experience in theme parks and should have held a similar post
- Understanding of compliance requirements and working with service level agreements
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow department procedures
- Speak other languages
- Any other FM qualification desirable
