Job Opening for Business Analyst with Halian

Job description

Our client, a global insurance organisation, is seeking a Business Analyst to be based in Dubai. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Conduct Requirement workshop/sessions with the Business Team and prepare business requirements document
  • Prepare requirements specification/solution specification document and co-ordinate with vendor for development 
  • Propose suitable solutions to the requirements of business
  • Assist Project & Senior Program Managers in the delivery of key strategic initiatives
  • Support the execution of Business projects  (follow up, minutes, tracking, & etc.)
  • Document key business processes using flow charts, as directed by the Project Managers or Program Manager
  • Contribute with ideas and suggestions to the implementation of customer-centered processes
  • Define and assist in implementing improvements identified during a project, in close partnership with process owners. 

To be considered for this amazing opportunity, the ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Minimum 2 years experience in handling P&C and Non-Life insurance
  • Sound knowledge of the insurance business, insurance accounting and current market
  • Experience of using databases such as SQL Server or Oracle
  • Knowledg of Web Services and XML
  • Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
  • Development in Web Environment, integration
