Project Manager
•Manage plan and study ٌRail projects from initiation, RFP preparation, tender evaluation and awarding.
•Manage the project activities/budget/program/ and implement the necessary Control & monitoring activities of Consultant/Contractor.
•Manage the project Payments, change request, variations, claims as necessary in accordance with RTA approved procedures and processes.
•Evaluate Consultant/contractor performance.
•Manage project change, risk and set contingency plan within the project life cycle in pre-contract stage and how the future projects, objectives could be safeguarded.
•Manage interface between project/contract and other interrelated projects/contracts. .
•Coordinate all work efforts and review on work performed based on scope of services for the project.
•Manage and collaborate with the project team members in all project phases, assign responsibilities to team members and follow up tasks until completion.
•Mange overall projects plans including revisions and amendments.
•Coordinate with other departments within and outside the RTA authority regarding all issues associated with the Projects.
•Create, compile, maintain, and disseminate project schedules as part of the Project Requirement document.
•Issue progress report to team senior manager as per the approved process, as well as, communicate project status to all team members and management on regular basis.
•Report to Senior Manager C&P on all aspects of Project Management of Dubai Tram
•Monitor and overview administration of Operation and Maintenance Contracts in conjunction with C&P representatives
•Interface between C&P team and Contractor including program monitoring and control of Sub Contractors
•Overall, monitor of Claims, Variations and Payment Certificates as prepared by QS team.
•Overview of Procurement requirements, tenders awards etc.
Skills
•Excellent knowledge and intensive experience with international civil infrastructure architecture projects, functions, systems, procedures and knowledge of management software such as primavera is advantageous.
•Ability to understand engineering technical submissions and ability to turn engineering theories to practical solutions. Ability to reviews work for technical accuracy and adequacy.
•Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
•Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications
•Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
