About your job:
- The E-Commerce team of Qatar Airways is looking for an E- Marketing Data Specialist.
- In this role, you will identify, retrieve and analyze data from web-analytics systems, Qatar Airways data bases and internet that will enhance effectiveness and return on investment in digital marketing areas. Support other commercial activities requiring application of data science techniques.
- The E- Marketing Data Specialist accountabilities are:
- Develop reports and perform ad hoc analysis, using web analytics and internal Qatar Airways data sources, in order to support E-Marketing team with the required business intelligence.
- Identify opportunities for better analytics, propose solutions and get them implemented.
- Support E- Commerce and IT teams with analytics related inputs required in application development and product management; also assist Commercial teams with research in E- Marketing domain.
- Manage vendors and internal customers with objective focus on return on investment. Specially while recommending 3rd party solutions to E- Commerce management.
About you:
- You must be a Bachelor’s degree graduate or equivalent in Business Management, Marketing, IT or Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
- You must have proven application of mathematical and data modelling concepts, hands on experience with online travel booking, working knowledge of attribution models, pixels and tagging. Previous working experience in an Airline E-Commerce or digital marketing roles is a definitive advantage.
- It is also important to demonstrate working experience with at least 2 of the following areas: Search engine optimization, Bid management tools, Affiliate programs, Metasearch engines, Online media planning and buying, Campaign analysis. It is essential to have strong quantitative attribute, ability to use platform as Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics and program SQL/SAS; to have passion for data science, excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and to team-play in a multicultural environment.
