Reports To: Head Bancasurance, Africa & Middle East.

Job Description

Fine tune and customize Group Wealth Management Strategy and Insurance Strategy into country plans and help in devising a plan to execute the strategy with a view to deliver revenue targets.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy Formulation & Execution, and Financial Management :

* Drive business revenue through deepening & retention of customers across all segments.
* *Articulate Wealth Management segment strategy to leverage potential revenue opportunities across all segments
* *Collaborate with Sales Staff to discover unmet needs that have been identified by the customers and RMs and subsequently work through for product delivery
* *Ensure effective execution of rigorous sales, service & operations management disciplines across the Insurance team, together with the Operation colleagues and Insurance partner/s.
* *Optimize Insurance P&L and balance sheet performance as well as other financial KPIs
Customer Experience & Relationship Management :

* Identify opportunities for process improvements based on VoC and VoF and drive for gap resolutions.
* Personally perform as a role model (customer-centric ambassador), and engage key customers
* Ensure delivery of portfolio management that is parallel with respective segments' portfolio targets and measures.

Leadership, People & Community Development :

* Drive and embed a strong performance culture through inspiring, motivating and rigorous performance management discipline.
* Develop and build talents through optimal resourcing, capacity planning, succession planning and engagements.
* Assume personal responsibility for country (or zone) staff productivity and performance relating to scorecards.
* Lead in building Insurance country (zone) model and profile through strong internal & external networking & alliances building.

Risk management & control :

* Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and policies covering Operational, Credit, Reputational and People Risk.
* Achieve KPIs set for operational, credit, people and risk parameters.
* Recognize and exercise sound commercial judgment & respond and resolve issues appropriately.
* Read, understand and comply with all provisions of the Group Code of Conduct.
* Sound knowledge of all aspects of general banking, retail operations and credit operations / deposit and lending products / inspection and audit requirements, as applicable.
* Ensure KYC compliance for all new to bank and existing customers.
* Report any suspicious transaction immediately to the supervising officer of Fraud Control

Qualifications and Skills

* UAE National Required
* University Graduate
* Minimum 5 years experience in sales and relationship management.
* Experience in handling basic Banking and/or Insurance Products
* Demonstrated ability in sales planning and delivery.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
* Networking ability to manage interdepartmental deliverables.
* Strong inter-personal skills and leadership ability which encourages and promotes enthusiasm and team spirit.
