Opening for Business Analyst with ManpowerGroup Middle East

Job description
Our client a Multinational energy and Marine services Company is looking for Business Analyst to be based in Dubai.

Job Purpose
To manage the complete “Requirement and Release cycle” ( Change Request > Impact Analysis > Testing by Vendor > Testing by Business users > Release Approval > monitoring Installation in production environment ) taking full ownership of the individual modules assigned.

Key Accountabilities

  • Creation of functional requirements documentation 
  • Understand business needs and/or changes requested by business users and translate them into application and operational requirements, thoroughly analysing the business process 
  • Coordinate internally with other module owners and assign the sequence of priorities for various changes requested by Business users across all modules 
  • Liaise with Business Owners on requirement and deliverables and act as the focal contact point for changes or enhancements 
  • Proactively identify the process issues that are threats to the growth of the organization and recommend appropriate solutions 
  • Proactively Identify and report issues, dependencies, and risks related to the project/assignment 
  • Facilitating the development and testing of application 
  • Monitoring the Release, installation and performance of application 
  • Submit Change Requests to Software Vendors and respond to Queries from various parties in timely manner 
  • Ensure that software vendor handles all module related CR as per priorities set by the business 
  • Participate in the planning and analysis related to conversion of data and integration of various business needs 
  • Coordinate with the respective groups of business unit to test, validate, evaluate new applications and functions, and determine issues in services and software 
  • Accountable for creation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) 
  • Ensure implementation of business acceptance tests 
  • Participate in Internal & External meetings and discussions and ensures action points against the assigned modules are closed in timely manner 
  • Ensure that the issues related to the projects/assignments are resolved in a timely manner 
  • Track the benefits and contributions by the specific application and process changes to the entire organization  

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information systems /business administration/Commerce/Engineering  
  • Internationally recognized certification in Business Process Analysis will be added advantage 
  • Minimum 5 years Process analysis experience preferably in shipping /logistics/SCM 
  • Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret user business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts. 
  • Expertise with planning tools including MS Project, MS Excel or equivalent 
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up skills 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task 
  • Ability to prioritize activities to accomplish project goals effectively and efficiently 
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes. 
  • Excellent writing and communications skills; able to relate effectively to all levels of management 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects within deadlines and work well under pressure. 
  • Work with minimum supervision
