Position overview

As Senior Marketing and PR Manager you will be you will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy, PR, brand and visual strategy for the company. You will develop and implement group wide projects, constantly evaluating ROI, whilst overseeing the design and production of marketing collateral, social media content and advertising. A key aspect of this role’s success will be ability to create ideas and to continue to make the brand aspirational and desirable to existing and new customer groups.

You will form part of the Bateel leadership team and you will play a key role in growing the profitability of the business unit.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Management and growth of the Bateel Brand, with a particular focus on growing our digital presence.
• The creation and implementation of marketing plans and strategies to grow market and category share, brand growth and product awareness.
• Management of PR relations including creation and distribution of Press releases.
• Design of collateral materials to ensure a modern, aesthetic and clean look.
• Lead, coach and mentor the marketing function to create a driven, motivated & energetic marketing team that delivers exceptional performance for the business 

Qualification, Skills and Experience

Qualifications

University Degree in a Marketing, Graphic Design or PR discipline

Skills:  

• Operates with integrity and objectivity at all times
• Demonstrates good planning, and organisational skills
• Resolves issues and proactive to address them
• Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
• First class people skills and the ability to communicate effectively across a multi-national, multi-cultural environment 

Experience:

• At least 12 years of experience working in a Marketing or PR role (Food and Beverage industry preferred).
• Proven international experience gained from either a European or Asia Pacific posting.
• Experience of leading a marketing team across broad disciplines including social media and creative.
• Proven delivery as a passionate, energetic marketing manager and leader who can clearly demonstrate delivery in the above responsibilities.
• Experience of leading a marketing team across broad disciplines including social media and creative.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, MS Office and familiarity of other design, web and multi-media software and applications.
• GCC experience is beneficial but not essential
