Job description
The main purpose of this role will be to install, configure, and maintain the computer systems, as well as the network components of the organization, with an aim to meet the strategic goals of the I.T. Department.
Key Accountabilities
Help Desk & Technical Support
Monitor the help desk system, and respond to help requests at the enterprise level
Administer assistance to users remotely, or through office visits as necessary
Escalate help requests requiring intervention from the Senior Network Administrator
Report on the status of all open help tickets, as the status changes on a periodic basis
System and Network Administration and I.T. Operations
Implementation of additions, deletions and modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure, via directions of senior network administrator
Essential Qualifications
University Degree or Diploma in Computer Science
Minimum of 3 year relevant I.T. experience
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of user desktop environments.
Must have good knowledge of email technologies, networking technologies, and telecommunication technologies.
Must have excellent troubleshooting skills.
Must be fluent in English
This role will be based in Dubai, UAE and will be reporting to the Manager- I.T Operations, and will require candidates who are already based in the UAE.
