Opening for Test Engineer with Donaldson EMEA

Job description

• To assume general lab responsibility of the Donaldson Abu Dhabi filter test lab
• To plan, execute and provide accurate and on-time reporting of filter testing towards customers
• To manage the test lab is up-to-date and in-line with the Donaldson quality management system (including calibration and maintenance of instrumentation).
• To participate in product development; suggest new ideas, suggest possible product improvements and/or cost reductions, suggest new testing tools, assist in production trials.
• To actively work with the Donaldson Abu Dhabi manufacturing plant to organize the delivery of requested products
• To conduct lab visits by Donaldson colleagues and customers.
• To assist in field support when required.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Electro-mechanical engineering degree (or equivalent through experience).
• Previous experience in filter testing and air filtration technology is a plus.
• Self-starter able to drive and develop activities in a structured way, team player able to work independently and able to motivate people around you.
• Open-minded thinker; able to see challenges from various perspectives.
• Can independently manage testing, plannings and communication to a diverse team of colleagues.
• Solid and clear document reporting skills (use of MS Word, Excel)
• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
