Opening for Reservoir Analytical Services-Sales & Development Manager with SGS Middle East

Job description

Establish, manage, monitor, and support sales team activities, plans, objectives, tendering, contracts, marketing, presentations, customer relations etc. in line with business growth targets to ensure sales objectives are achieved for the Middle East region

Effective sales of SGS upstream analytical services to clients in the region to secure business from “one-off” and long term contracts covering Fixed Lab Services, FluidPro PAL™ , and Field Analytical Services in the Middle East

Maintain up-to-date awareness of competitor technical service offering and assess SGS pricing levels needed to achieve target market share for the Middle East

Pro-actively promote SGS services through personal network of contacts, face to face meetings with clients, technical presentations, conferences and workshops

Evaluate and compare SGS service offering against competitors within the Region and identify with justification any requirements for technical / service enhancement

Report progress against planned activities in a timely and concise manner ensuring that necessary support is secured from OGC Business and Regional Leadership to address issues impacting on achieving objectives

Desired Skills and Experience

Professional qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in upstream analytical services

Possess a 4-year university degree in a related technical or marketing discipline

Prior experience in marketing upstream lab services in Middle East is highly desired.

Exhibit a thorough understanding of E&P technologies, processes and practices - in particular, field and lab analytical services for reservoir description and production enhancement such as PVT, core analysis, geochemistry, sampling and production chemistry.

Possess a good understanding of financial and commercial practices related to quotes, tenders and contracts for upstream services
