Senior Engineer
• Assist in studying the requests relating to freezing lands and affected by strategic ROW, in addition to the requests relating to the extension of service providers lines within ROW, and conduct technical reports and issue NOC to facilitate related transactions, and coordination with RTA Agencies.
• Provide support in Studying requests of allocating new lands for RTA projects received from various agencies, and coordinate with developers, landowners, and Dubai Municipality and concerned external authorities.
• Provide support in the study of strategic Right of Way reservation requests from various agencies, and coordinate with Dubai Municipality, developers, landowners, Service authorities to apply according to agreed procedures.
• Assist in the study of claims related to the lands affected by RTA ROW according to agreed procedures in Dubai and prepare the necessary reports to be approved from higher management in RTA
• Assist in preparing Correspondences and reports related to ROW reservation/update and allocate lands for all external and internal authorities.
• Provide support in auditing and monitoring any change occurred on approved strategic Roads and transportation ROW at Dubai planning system through the coordination with Municipality.
• Coordinate with the concerned regarding the optimum use of GIS related to Section infrastructure functions daily .
• Provide support in preparing and developing methodologies and procedures related to section functions and processes to increase the efficiency of work.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
Skills
• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• 3 -7years of relevant experience (Roads, Infrastructure, and Transportation).
• Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
• Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
• Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
• Proven ability to develop quality standards, testing procedures, inspection reporting formats, and ability to conceptualize tasks and accomplish them.
• Good knowledge of statistical methods and their applications.
