Reports to: Senior Vice President (“SVP”), Sales
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates (with international travel as required by the role)
OVERVIEW
The role of the Programme Director (BD) is to act in a sales and account management capacity for new and existing customers consistent with the sales strategy, targets, and budget set by the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) from time to time. He/she also acts as a Customer Relationship Manager (“CRM”) for nominated key accounts.
The Programme Director (BD) reports to the SVP Sales and operates collaboratively with Country Security Directors and other effective management in the business; end to end, from the identification of and bidding for new business, through the delivery of the contracted service to the clients including billing, and maintenance of effective CRM. He/she will also be responsible for producing Account Development Plans (“ADP”) for specific key accounts, for managing his/her sales pipeline and report on individual sales opportunity progress.
MISSION
To identify and then exploit opportunities for new business consistent with corporate growth projection, while maintaining existing customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Completion of tertiary education desirable
Minimum 5 years commercial / sales management experience within a risk management, security or security forces training environment
Experience in sales and/or deliver of security management services an advantage
APTITUDE, CAPABILITIES & SKILLS:
Energy, enthusiasm and the desire to be a successful member of a first rate team
The personal commitment to contribute to the company’s growth through direct contribution to winning
Excellent English language skills, oral and written
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)
Working knowledge of CRM software tools, experience using Salesforce would be an advantage
Demonstrable experience of drafting detailed reports and presenting to clients
Demonstrable expertise in the application of security and risk management principles to security operations in conflict / post conflict and remote / hostile environments
Proven track record of sales and client management success
Demonstrable experience of leading key discussions regarding Proposal Strategy and ‘Price to Win’ Strategy for key opportunities
