Job opportunity for Security Programme Manager with Etihad Airways

We are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join the Technology & Innovation function as a Security program manager in Security, Risk and Compliance department.

As a Security program manager, you will be responsible to

Establish and manage the security initiative agenda for the organization including programme(s) related to information security risk, BCM and/or IT compliance

Monitor associated budget, resourcing and delivery and report on the performance of security projects in the organization

Support audit and assurance plans and schedule

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive governance, reporting and analysis for Security transformation initiatives and innovation projects across the enterprise
  • Oversee and manage large/complex Security programs and projects, including providing governance and direction to service providers
  • Manage complex multi-functional relationships with senior and executive stakeholder management
  • Serve as liaison between program stakeholders, program/project team and senior management
  • Review and report on status of the security programs, audits and associated projects, including schedule, budget and risks
  • Assess security program level risks and issues and develops mitigation plans to meet program objectives
  • Coordinate with IT, Data Center and Security operations to schedule and implement information security initiatives
  • Ensure that the security project management processes are fit for purpose
  • Ensure that project delivery teams follow security policies

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to lead all aspects of project governance, planning, design, development and implementation
  • Managing execution of projects by suppliers / managed services providers (SoWs, MSAs, Contract Management etc.)
  • Strong administrative skills with effectiveness in assigning tasks and driving project delivery to achieve target dates
  • Ability to combine program management capabilities with analytical strength and business acumen
  • Knowledge of industry best practice standards pertaining to Information Security, risk management and data privacy
  • Knowledge of and experience with Information Security and GRC tools
  • Understanding of international and local regulations pertaining  to Aviation, Information Security and data privacy
  • Very good written and oral communication skills required 
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    Follow all relevant policies, processes and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner

Day-to-Day Operations

    Implement the day-to-day standard operations assigned to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Refer to supervisor for complex tasks which may require exceptions to procedures

Safety, Quality & Environment

    Comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree from a university
  • Project/ Program Management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) desirable
  • Industry and domain certifications such as CISSP, CISA desirable
  • ITIL Foundation certificate in ITSM desirable
  • At least 8 years of experience in project delivery experience in Security domain in a managed services environment
  • In-depth knowledge of operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management
  • Hands on experience in RFIs, RFPs, tenders and contract management
  • Prior experience in aviation industry highly desirable
  • Experience in working in a dynamic context within a managed services, multi-vendor and geographically-dispersed organizational environment
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams towards project completion
  • Strong knowledge of information security best practices and methodologies
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
