THE ROLE

Title: Digital Account Director

• Lead and manage a portfolio of client projects, including many of our key accounts.  
• Establish strong client relationships, customer satisfaction and project delivery levels.
• Understand and realise opportunities to grow clients’ business and brands.
• Work well across the digital marketing landscape (especially versed in web design and build, social/banner campaigns and EDMs).
• Relate well to colleagues in a multi-disciplinary, non-hierarchical team environment.
• Manage internal financial reporting as well as client budgetary financial administration.  
• Contribute to agency business development through pitch and proposal preparation.

THE CANDIDATE

Mandatory Requirements:

• 8+ years relevant agency background in digital.
• A track record in successful account leadership and performance outcomes.
• Proven capability on big website projects and digital campaigns.
• Ability to connect the dots across different aspects of inbound marketing.
• Versatile and comfortable in making strategic recommendations.
• Willing and capable to mix this with day-to-day, hands-on tasks.
• Proactive initiative-taker and problem-solver.
• Analytical, deadline, detail and service-oriented.
• Enabling a multi-disciplinary team; working alongside strategy, UX, technical management, SEO and social specialists.
• Exceptional inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project planning, scoping and management skills.

Highly Desirable Advantages:

• Based in the UAE; ideally available within one month or less.
• Good working knowledge of Google Analytics and other tools.
• Very good UI/UX understanding and preferably training.
• Working knowledge of Umbraco, SharePoint, Sitecore and WordPress CMS.
• Experience with SEO/SEM and CRM software.
• Industry certifications and/or a higher qualification in marketing or relevant digital field.
