The role will involve a mix of valuation work for a range of top tier clients including banks, developers, investors, lending institutions, owners and occupiers who rely on our advice to make financial decisions, assess risks and ensure they adopt the correct management of individual properties and portfolios.
Applicants will also have an opportunity to be involved in business generation and the promotion of all Cavendish Maxwell service lines across the region working alongside our Head of Oman.

Responsibilities:
- Value commercial property within the Sultanate of Oman
- Reach firm and justifiable conclusions on values for work undertaken
- Prepare detailed reports and present valuation advice to clients
- Be able to take day-to-day responsibility for the execution of instructions under minimum supervision
- Manage multiple instructions at the same time efficiently and effectively
- Assist with the development and maintenance of a strong client base
- Proactively promote all Cavendish Maxwell service lines to existing and prospective clients
- Play an active role in the development of more junior team members
- Support an expanding team in its business development objectives and continued growth in revenue
- Review and sign-off valuation reports in line with the guidelines set out in the RICS red book
- Participation in the review and assessment of potential business development and bidding prospects (dependent on level)
Requirements:
- MRICS qualified and registered valuer with experience valuing all types of commercial property
- Comprehensive knowledge of valuation regulations and legislation
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Self-motivated with good time-management skills
- Fluency with Argus software packages
- Able to establish and maintain good working relationships and have an approachable manner
- Full driving licence
- Arabic speaking is not essential but would be advantageous
