Aggreko Middle East is hiring Projects Technician Mechanical

Purpose of the Job

To operate, maintain and repair Aggreko equipment as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

• Carry out ‘A’ service maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators.
• Carry out major maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators.
• Carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on mechanical equipment including DC control circuits.
• Carry out Aggreko ‘Health Checks’ and associated adjustments.
• Carry out procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems.
• Carry out ‘On the Job Training’ for service crew.
• Complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics
• Operate the Aggreko service mobility system.
• Operate, diagnose Aggreko generator controllers.
• Issue non- AC electrical ‘permit to work’.
• Assist with the installation and demobilisation of Aggreko equipment.
• Adhere to Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) within working environment at all times.
• Commitment to and involvement in Aggreko continuous improvement initiatives.
• Actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation including external and internal audits.
• Any other duties considered related essential for effective operations and service as requested.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience
• Has knowledge and experience in mechanical field
• Availability to travel as and when required
• Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
• Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain

• 3+ years relevant experience Proficiency in local language
• Good comprehensive level of technical knowledge relating to the job role and associated activities
• Able to carry out a wide range of complex technical tasks without supervision or guidance
• Able to acquire the desired results in all associatted training provided by Aggreko
• Able to make technical decisions for self and others in the context of the work role and associated activities without supervision
• Able to effectively communicate detailed levels of technical knowledge to others relating to the job role and associated activities
• Takes responsibility of HSE requirements for self and others. Leads others towards raising HSE standards
• High level of commitment and loyalty
