Aggreko Middle East is hiring Projects Technician Electrical 2

Purpose of the Job:

To operate, maintain and repair Aggreko equipment as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out major electrical equipment maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko equipment.
• Carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on electrical and control equipment.
• Carry out high voltage Aggreko equipment maintenance.
• Carry out procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems.
• Carry out ‘A’ service maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators.
• Carry out ‘On the Job Training’ for Service Crew.
• Complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics.
• Operate the Aggreko service mobility system.
• Operate and diagnose Aggreko control systems.
• Issue AC electrical ‘permit to work’.
• Carry out switching on LV and HV Aggreko equipment.
• Assist with the installation and demobilisation of Aggreko equipment.
• Adhere to Global Service Centre Standards (GSCS) within working environment at all times.
• Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence activities.

Person Specification

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical or acceptable equivalent qualifications/experience
• Has knowledge and experience in Electrical field
• Availability to travel as and when required
• Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business
• Site/Depot based job requiring both technical and manual work to be conducted in all weather and terrain 

Desired Skills

• 3+ years relevant experience Proficiency in local language
• Good comprehensive level of technical knowledge relating to the job role and associated activities
• Able to carry out a wide range of complex technical tasks without supervision or guidance
• Able to acquire the desired results in all associatted training provided by Aggreko
• Able to make technical decisions for self and others in the context of the work role and associated activities without supervision
• Able to effectively communicate detailed levels of technical knowledge to others relating to the job role and associated activities
• Takes responsibility of HSE requirements for self and others. Leads others towards raising HSE standards
• High level of commitment and loyalty
• Quality oriented with attention to details and capable of working to deadlines

• Able to work long hours in demanding conditions
