About Analytics Solutions: As a part of the rapidly growing Analytics Solutions market, IBM’s Analytics Solutions Development Team in India Software Labs delivers innovative Industry scale cognitive/Analytics solutions on Cloud and on prem. The Analytics Solution Development Team works with Industry experts across the globe and the offering management Team to Design and Develop solutions for Segments like Financial Markets, Retail etc. The unit is responsible for building end to end solutions both for Cloud and on prem needs .
Who you are
As a Data scientist for Analytics Solutions Team you will apply your deep analytics expertise should be able to design and implement end to end delivery of unstructured data mining of large scale big data platforms. Apply semantic correlation, ontology, and text analytics techniques to analyze un-structured data and identify critical insights. You will participate in Feature / Design discussions / workshop with Architect and the offering Management Teams to come up with innovative solutions that can scale.
The Candidate is highly hands-on and enjoys to learn on the job. The candidate has a very good grasp of a broad set of machine learning algorithms and Software engineering skills. Expert machine learning / mathematical / statistical background.
The candidate would utilize Python / Java / Perl Scripting, big data technologies and tools, big data ecosystem components and distributed computing.
The Candidate should participate in all aspects of the software life cycle, including analysis, design development, unit testing, production deployment and support.
The Candidate would formulate approaches and gather data to solve business problems, develop conclusions and present solutions through formal deliverables.

• Design and Develop Analytical Insights based on unstructured and Structured Data for Industry scale Analytical solutions on cloud and on prem.
• Convert requirements into actual working modules .
• Work with Data Scientists and Distinguished Engineers and Architects to solve problems by using analytics as a tool .
