Opening for Technology Business Analyst with Etihad Airways

We are pleased to announce an extremely exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our growing Technology and Innovation division. You will add immediate value by supporting our Global Loyalty Company with several high impact and business critical technology programs.  The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working within a Business Analyst capacity, ideally for an Aviation group.

This is a highly specialized role, responsible for the overall Requirements Gathering, Business Process Consulting and Reviews along with conducting workshops with senior business leaders.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Full responsibility for Requirements Gathering across a large technology portfolio
• Conducting workshops with senior business leaders across the Technology and Innovation division
• Participate in developing business cases for new solutions to demonstrate technical feasibility, sustainability and return on investment and get initiative approval
• Participate in developing departmental guidelines to provide guidance and ensure consistency across the technical and functional teams
• Coordinate the analyst team during solutions implementation to ensure proper support to business and limit disruptions / impacts on business continuity
• Review and maintain the staffing plan to ensure availability of resources according to planned activities
• Develop and maintain deep understanding of business processes and operations to ensure accuracy of business requirements and alignment of solutions to operations content
• Coach, guide and provide formal / informal feedback to analyst team to support skills development and team’s performance
• Monitor the proper tracking of all documents required by Etihad’s IT delivery methods to ensure accurate documentation of all activities

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Policies and procedures - Follow all relevant policies, processes and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
• Day-to-Day Operations - Implement the day-to-day standard operations assigned to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Refer to supervisor for complex tasks which may require exceptions to procedures
• Safety, Quality & Environment - Comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment 

 EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years' experience within a Business Analyst capacity
Bachelors Degree
