Business Analyst

Minimal qualifications include:-

B Tech / BE / MCA
5+ years of industry experience
At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Basic Project Management experience
Knowledge in Web Technologies

Job Description:

Business Analysis

• Capture the customers’ requirements and translate them into software requirements for the development team
• Document business, user, functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure that the scope and requirements are clear
• Create internal design documentation including context, workflow and network diagrams

Pre-sales support

• Actively participate in the pre-sales process
• Attend meetings with prospective clients to determine functional and business requirements and ensure that all necessary information is collated prior to proposing a solution
• Define the project scope for effort estimation and costing
• Prepare bids/techno-commercial proposals
• Ensure that the solution suggested by Suyati in the bidding phase is commercially viable and competitive
• Ability to understand technical requirements during meetings with prospects will be desirable

Project Management

• Act as the single point of contact between the customer and Suyati
• Work closely with the customer during the delivery phase to clarify the scope, report progress
• Work closely with the development team during the delivery phase to co-ordinate the development progress

Delivery responsibility for projects

• Manage client relationship including expectation management
• Able to understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer and Suyati
• Build productive relationships internally and externally, fostering teamwork by keeping colleagues updated on activities

Technical Skills:-

• Experience in gathering, refining and recommending business and functional requirements
• Basic Project Management Skills
• Expertise in Proposal Preparation, based on Customer’s Requirements
• Expert level knowledge in usage of tools like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and some of the UML modelling tools
• Knowledge in some of the Web Technologies and specialization in at least one of the items below will be a plus point
• Microsoft Technologies
• Open Source
• Content Management Systems
• Cloud Technologies

Soft Skills:-

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong presentation and demonstration skills

Excellent learning skills and willingness to experiment with new technologies
