Etihad Airways is looking for a performance-minded Regional Online Marketing Manager who has the knowledge and the passion to support taking Etihad Airways’ social media initiatives to the next level. Reporting to the Head of Social Media, this role will manage the social media managers and agency relationships in the assigned region and partner with stakeholders across the company including: Corporate Communication, Marketing, Digital, IT, Guest Experience and IT teams. The position involves creating best practices, processes and benchmarks and managing a team to deliver a best-in-class performance-based content marketing strategy across several global social properties that supports the Etihad Airways group of companies.

- Project lead the implementation of centrally driven social media marketing and communication campaigns in the regions to ensure a successful and localized roll-out across out-stations
- Manage and develop a team of social media managers to deliver best-in-class social media strategies for Etihad Airways in assigned region
- Lead and supervise the development and implementation of localized social media marketing campaigns, editorial strategy and recommendations to support against set annual objectives for specific countries and/or regions.
- Manage relationships and work with internal client departments across Etihad Airways to ensure a successful rollout for new and existing social media strategies that are tailored to these respective areas and a variety of customer segments and markets in the assigned region and platforms.
- Create and coach adoption with social media managers of strategic analytical approaches to measure, test and optimize social media content on a daily, weekly and long-term basis that are appropriate to platforms within the region.
- Create use cases, analyses and best in class examples from examples inside and outside the industry specific to the assigned region(s) to drive education and knowledge sharing of social media best practices with internal client partners.
- Own and manage the quality of assigned local social properties and profiles and coach social media managers on quality bars
- Work with social media managers to develop an appropriate voice and content strategy that is tailored to each social media property specific to the assigned region(s)
- Develop online marketing alliances with local partners such as like-minded online properties, travel trade, key accounts, etc to drive awareness, engagement and revenue opportunities
- Source, negotiate and manage relationships with social and online vendors to support and develop commercial opportunities
- Manage agency relationship in region
- Provide regular executive-level reporting for analysis and insight of social media performance in region
- Create and manage blogger outreach program specific to the region
- Evolve the airline’s approach to using social media to innovate in the industry and the region(s)
- Work with relevant local partners to develop marketing alliances and contribute to the effective promotion of the Etihad's brand
- Support local teams in identifying the most effective channels to implement effective marketing campaigns
- Manage the local roll out of central marketing campaigns to ensure they are successfully implemented in the region
- Develop,plan and lead execution of regional marketing programs,to ensure investments optimization
- Performance track Marketing campaigns and activities at a pre,during and post-launch level,to ensure timely identification and effective resolution of corrective actions
- Review and analyse marketing campaigns results to ensure timely identification of improvement actions
- Manage administrative and accounting procedures to ensure the accurate and timely execution of the processes
- Prepare and present report to senior management on local Marketing KPIs to ensure the accurate and timely communication of results and contribution to business growth
- Perform research and studies to identify innovations and trends to ensure the effectiveness of campaign in the assigned geography
- Manage and develop the team to source and cultivate talents in order to improve overall department performance
