Job Opening for Manager – Business Applications (Sales) with L’Oréal

We are looking for an IT professional for the position of Manager – Business Applications (Sales) with hands on experience of 4-5years on BOTREE system. This is a functional and technical role requiring development and operational experience of managing business applications with focus on sales domain. The position is responsible for on-going support, enhancements and project activities on platform BOTREE (Distribution Management System).The location of the job will be in Mumbai and preferably candidates from the industry of Consumer Goods, FMCG and Retail will be an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project / Solution Management
  • Monitor incoming demands regarding applications & propose solutions in line with the overall system coherence & group guidelines
  • Manage implementation / release projects and participate to the key steps of the implementation
  • Elaborate the working & versioning methods, planning & technical specifications of different development projects & ensure that they are respected
  • Work on Digital Initiative to provide technology solution
  • Service / Delivery Management
  • Support all Sales application like Distributor Management System, Sales Force Automation, Sales Portal, etc.
  • Define & manage the support services & supervise its functioning within the defined standards (quality, time, cost, etc.)
  • Manage escalations, crises & exceptional situations & define the emergency action plans
  • Perform corrective / scalable maintenance of applications
  • Test and / or monitor the test phases of the developments in compliance with the defined test scenario
  • Change Management
  • Analyse functional requirements, formalize their technical translations & undertake the corresponding developments
  • Analysing the impact & communicating to domains impacted
  • Propose technical & sustainable solutions
  • Supervise the content & the final deliverables & ensure its overall quality
  • Organizing & delivering user training
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Participate in the selection of external suppliers as well as the outsourced services contracted
  • Develop, maintain effective relationships & communication with internal users and external suppliers
  • Project Management
  • Participate in the definition of business case, cost model and overall objectives for the project
  • Define and monitor the project plan, budget, activities, methodologies, resource and responsibilities allocation (internal / external)
  • Define the implementation strategy of the program and supervise the change management activities including training, user support and communication
  • Track project risks and decide on corrective measures to achieve objectives and minimize delays and costs

Technical Skillsets Must Haves:

Hands-on Experience on BOTREE System (4-5 years minimum experience)
MCP, GNIIT, SQL Certified (Any)
Microsoft Technologies, SQL Database, PL-SQL, .Net Framework, Web Technologies

Value Added Skillsets:

IIS, SharePoint – understanding of technology architecture & solution build using the mentioned technologies

PMP Trained (certification is value add) & Exposure to Mobility SFA tools and platform
Exposure to Mobility SFA tools and platform

Professional Experience:                

5 - 10 years relevant experience (Sales Application / CRM / DMS Systems).
Must have worked on 4-5 implementation projects
Must have worked on integration projects

Key Technical Competencies:
Hands-on Experience on BOTREE System (4-5 years minimum experience)
Sales domain Knowledge and Supply Chain
Project Management Experience knowledge

Team Size: 1 reportee

Education: Bachelor or Engineering degree with major subject as Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent B.Com with GNIIT certification

STORE MANAGER

This position is for SalonCentric, a wholly owned subsidiary of L'Oreal USA. SalonCentric is a leading and rapidly growing wholesale distributor of premium and exclusive brands in the salon and beauty industry.

Role
The Store Manager is responsible for providing excellent customer service, hiring, development of team members as well as merchandising and inventory control.

Job Responsibilities

  • •Conduct cycle counts when needed or advised
  • •Assist customers daily with product knowledge
  • •‘Ring’ purchases for customers throughout the scheduled shift
  • •Expediting shipments inclusive of replenishing stock on sales floor
  • •Insure store cleanliness and organization
  • •Hire, manage and train a staff of 1-5 team members.
  • •Making daily bank deposits are and insuring they are deposited per company policy
  • •Create weekly and bi-weekly schedules
  • •Ensure protection of company assets by meeting or exceeding established shrinkage goals within the district
  • •Direct, train and supervise store team members in maintaining the highest level of presentation and visual standards consistent with the SalonCentric brand
  • •Creates a hands-on supervision environment that emphasizes sales floor management, customer service and sales generation
  • •Effectively communicate and enforce company policy and procedures
  • •Maintaining sales and labor goals with effective and exceptional customer service, merchandising and team member management
  • •Attend and participate in sales and management training meetings and events as directed by management

Experience, Competencies & Requirements

  • •1 to 3 years of retail management experience
  • •Demonstrated success in achieving selling and operational excellence by hiring, leading, motivating and developing effective store team members
  • •Highly resourceful, flexible and ability to solve problems in a timely manner
  • •Ability to operate a computerized ‘cash register’ system, prior experience with SAP a plus
  • •Ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels of management
  • •Self-directed with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • •Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • •Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • •Ability to stand more than 90% of scheduled shift
  • •Ability to lift 20lbs or more throughout the scheduled shift
  • •High School degree in Management or related field of study (or equivalent work experience) is required
  • •Reliable transportation to insure bank deposits are delivered within company guidelines
  • •Cosmetology license is a plus
