What you will be expected to do:

  • Drive the vision and strategy of our growth programs in the MEA Region – understand the trends of the served industries and strategically adapt the commercial effort to anticipate changes and gain a competitive advantage across our portfolio; build and manage a two-tier channel sales strategy leveraging the IT and Electrical distributor and reseller network; optimize the commercial activity in the region, strengthening our business, maximizing account penetration, identifying new market opportunities, optimizing and orchestrating the various business models.
  • Be an inspirational leader – grow, manage and develop a high performing sales team which will meet targets, hunt pipeline and lead all aspects of the sale, from creation to closure; create and promote an environment of success where your team members will model the best customer approach and will feel they have the opportunity to use their skills to add value to the business and also feel they can further develop professionally and personally
  • Drive revenue growth – develop strong relationships across the entire Network Power sales organization to strategically enhance Data Centre Infrastructure sales; meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Be an active member of the leadership team – contribute to the success of the team and its development. 

What will make you successful

Education: University degree (technical preferred); MBA degree is highly valued

Experience:

10+ years proven experience in sales (at least 5 years industry experience selling complex IT hardware/software solutions for the data center including a Channel sales approach)

Very good knowledge of the MEA Market  with emphasis on IT solutions and data center equipment

Very good knowledge channel/partner sales strategy and working with major distributors in the MEA region

Good understanding of the mechanics of a volume business in a vast territory

Previous experience in building a business

Previous experience in leading a team

Good understanding of our product portfolio

Language skills: English at advanced/native level, French is a major advantage
