Reports to : Marketing Manager, Founder & CEO
The Role
The Social Media Executive will be responsible in handling social media presence, producing and publishing content for the company on websites and assist in executing online campaigns. The role is also to assist in marketing projects and will extend to marketing and public relations when required
It requires the ability to manage time, handle projects, initiate and complete new tasks and fulfill requirements pertaining to content and social media.
Principal accountabilities are:
Execute daily tasks of social media strategy across identified digital platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Blogs, and Instagram etc.); including:
o Creating and publishing content
o Performing enhancements and modifications’
o Coordinating prompt responses to questions and comments over social media platforms
Strategically monitor measure & report on social media activity – find out what works, tweaks and improve communication, tactics, campaigns etc.
Provide input into the further development of the companies social media strategy
Closely liaise with other parts of company to ensure alignment and online marketing strategy is being delivered.
Respond and react to changes within social networks - functionality, etiquette, reporting, latest technologies and new opportunities.
Come up with creative input on content to compliment activities within marketing and other areas of the business.
Keep the organization up to date with the latest technologies; including researching and evaluating a variety of online social media tools to identify new opportunities
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competencies
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or advertising Certificate in online marketing or social media
Experience:
2 to 3 years’ experience on similar field.
