Job description
The Director Event Technology is responsible for design, provision and operation of key management systems such as accreditation, logistics, transport and accommodation to support the event requirements of Expo 2020.
Main responsibilities for this role include:
- Develop an Information System roadmap to support operations;
- Interface between internal departments ensuring optimal use of the system;
- Develop Information Systems that account for Expo's legacy objectives;
- Ensure installment, maintenance and support users of event infrastructure;
- Plan and deliver IT/technical projects across company events and projects, in conjunction with the Event Technology team;
- Manage several complex relationships simultaneously ensuring high service levels are achieved;
- Ensure strong customer service in the department;
- Ensure equipment operation and maintenance.
