Business Leader, Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant
Overview
The Advisors Partnership team is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth through
direct and indirect sales with third party organizations across all industry verticals
• The Business Leader, Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant’s primary responsibility is to provide consultative solutions engineering of our Information Data Assets and pre-sales efficiency for Partnerships.
• The position helps improve our clients’ business and drive sales through architecture of complex data solutions for our Partners; including Retailers, Financial Institutions, and Media Companies.
• This role acts as the pre-sales bridge between Information Data Assets, Sales/CBLs, Advanced Analytics, and Data Usage/Privacy teams utilizing data expertise, a global solutions purview, and client economies of scope.
• The business leader will also articulate the value proposition of MasterCard’s information solutions to both technical and C-level executives of our clients as well as across MasterCard.

• Have you been a part of a dynamic pre-sales team where analytical knowledge is paramount?
Role
• Engage in a consultative manner with sales teams and clients to identify and frame Information Data Asset solutions that meet customer needs
• Solution Design:
- Define the optimal data assets for use with the partner’s assets
- Collaborate with external and internal teams to design the integration model utilizing the contributions from both parties, including custom data sets and linkage options
- Define measures of success
• Pilot/Test Solution:
- Collaborate with the partner regarding test design and ensure the MasterCard contribution is being used optimally for success
- Establish Data Evaluation content and use cases
- Jointly assess results with partner, and finalize data asset structure and flow for rollout
• Identify solution patterns and contribute to business requirements for new or improved products
• Establish relationships internally and externally, to build and maintain a successful, professional network resulting in revenues
All About You
• Experience designing solutions and delivering information and/or analytic solutions to Retailers, Financial Institutions, and Media Companies
• Strong sales skills including ability to uncover client needs and identify the combination of current off-the-shelf data products and custom data offerings to meet those needs
• Strong analytical skills and technical depth to uncover the customer centric insights that influence decision making in clients and knowledge of and understanding of the importance of methods such as:
o Experimental Design/Hypothesis Testing
o Multivariate Techniques; Predictive modeling
o Data Visualization
• Experience working cross functionally with other sales teams, product management, advanced analytics, operations, and legal to identify opportunities and design projects
• MBA or Advanced Quantitative degree preferable, but not required
• English required
• Able to travel throughout sales territory
