About the Role:

An exciting role has arisen in the Sales Department at Burj Al Arab for a highly motivated and hardworking individual. The main purpose of this position is to work with the team and to achieve the given objectives for the given segment.

Your key duties will include:

Proactively manage a pre-determined number of accounts to ensure maximum yield in rooms and F&B revenue in line with hotel budgetary objectives.

Proactively prospect new accounts for the Hotel and convert them into producing accounts.

Carry out regular product trainings, site inspections and client entertainments to raise product knowledge of potential and existing clients and partners.

Ensure that all activities are performed in accordance to Jumeirah standards and the Jumeirah Quality Management System.

Review available dates and yield strategy to maximize utilization of hotel facilities. Adherence to all company systems used.

Maintain a full understanding of the hotel’s facilities, capacities, feasibility, history, services, pricing, Food and Beverage offerings, photography and any other necessary policies.

Attend and contribute to daily operational and sales meetings or as per business requirements.

Maintain a complete understanding and comply with the hotels policies and procedures, particular in relation to security, health & safety and hygiene.

Maintain knowledge of all Jumeirah properties for cross selling as well as the competitors’ offerings and tactical.

Handles projects assigned by the ADBD and DBD.

About You:

In order to be considered for this role, you must have gained a college Degree and will possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role in a 5 Star luxury hotel. You should be good at English and Mandarin verbally and writening. You will have good administration, communication, time management and organizational skills, as well as the capability to multitask and strong attention to detail. You will also be a team player with effective analytical skills.

Proficiency in computer software systems such as MS Office is essential and Delphi and IDEAs proficient is desirable
