JOB PURPOSE
The Business Services Solution Architect for Finance is responsible for integrating business, information, and technology architecture to create service architecture for Financial Services.
Collaborates with Service Managers, as well as Business, Information, and Enterprise Technology Architects to understand the implications on service architecture.
Customer and supplier facing role, engaged in the gap analysis, remediation, service design and leading on the planning and execution of all service line transformation, service architecture and client management
Coordinates with Enterprise Information and Technology Architects to understand the implications of respective architectures on service architecture, with particular emphasis on Service Strategy and Service Design Processes
Accountable for the full impact and consideration of all availability, capacity, service continuity, security and performance criteria and requirements in the design of the new solutions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Bachelor Degree or a diploma (3 years)
Minimum of 10 years experience in relevant field.
Experience of SAP Finance
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE
Experience of integration and middleware platforms (especially IBM Websphere)
Experience and understanding of Finance business services and technology solutions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Implement relevant policies, processes and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner
- Day-to-Day Operations
- Manage the day-to-day operations by providing guidance, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards
- Safety, Quality & Environment
- Comply with all relevant safety, security, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define the standards, guidelines and direction of architecture for the assigned application portfolio to ensure consistency with the overall framework and T&I policies
- Lead the technical design for the assigned platforms to ensure consistency with the overall portfolio architecture and compliance with guidelines and procedures
- Review and validate technical solutions to ensure compliance with functional requirements, technical feasibility and alignment with the overall portfolio
- Lead the development of relevant technical documentation (interface design/specifications, control documents, etc) to ensure proper description of technical changes and availability of accurate documentation aligned with internal standards
- Manage vendors and third parties to monitor they operate in compliance with T&I processes, enterprise architecture standards and guidelines
- Review the business technology plan to ensure alignment with T&I and Etihadﾒs strategy and objectives
- Contribute to the definition of the evolution roadmap for the assigned application portfolio to support the development and improvement of business solutions
- Recommend and advise on new technologies and innovations introduction to support the adoption of best practices solutions
- Review and analyse technology market trends to identify and suggest technology innovations
