To develop media plans in line with the communication strategy
The candidate should
-Desired Skills and Experience
• Persuasive writing skills & strong presentation skills
• Effective time management skills, including group management
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficient in all MS Office programs and media research tools and resources
• Proven ability in successful campaign implementation (third party ad serving and tracking, measurement, billing reconciliation)
• Effectively motivate staff, evaluate performance, and provide feedback
• Ensure quality control of all media deliverables to clients
• Maintain appropriate client relationships
• Build client respect and be recognized as a leader on their business
• Oversee the budgeting process to ensure that the necessary resources are applied
• 1 years experience managing and developing the skills of a team
• 3+ years of experience within media planning
• Bilingual - Arabic & English

The candidate should
- Be able to develop a good rapport with media owners and colleagues within the agency and the creative agencies
- Begin to develop an understanding of the client’s business, their products, services, customer profile, marketing and business objectives, competitors and sales
- Sound knowledge of the media market place and opportunities available
- Build and maintain media knowledge of the market, consumer and media research available
- Possess good communication and selling skills
- Be numerate, literate and accurate in all aspects of your work
- To undertake projects as requested on new business
- To work closely with the finance department to generate periodical reconciliation and manage ad-hoc vendor issues
- To start to foster relationships with the clients where the planner is respected for their media skills and ability to add value to the effectiveness of clients’ media investment
- To have a strong relationship with media vendors, be able to push them in order to meet client’s deliverables and expectations in liaison with the MBU
- To work with Buying Team: Provide them with an investment brief, Collaborate in the development of implementation plan, Liaise with them regarding any issues on on-going plans
- To work closely with the finance department to generate periodical reconciliation and manage ad-hoc vendor issues
- To help the team as required, e.g. perform competitive analyses, answering direct information requests, evaluation of media options To be involved in helping develop & deliver competitive / plan rationale presentations
- Integrate research correctly in planning process
- Analyze all new research and present to clients – under supervision of Media Supervisor / Team Head
