Global Loyalty Company (GLC) was set up by Etihad Airways Group to manage the strategic and commercial growth of the frequent flyer loyalty programs within the group; most notably: Etihad Guest (Etihad Airways), MilleMiglia (Alitalia), topbonus (airberlin) and JetPrivilege (Jet Airways). Today, the program portfolio boasts more than 17 million members, with a target of 30 million by 2020.

The opportunity to join GLC comes at a key time for the business, as it gears up for a number of significant milestones over the next 18 months that will help drive its medium-long term growth.

As a Marketing Officer within the GLC Marketing & Brand team, you will play an important role in helping the management team to drive improved marketing performance and business results through strategies and tactics that deliver against key 2016 Marketing and business priorities.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Work with GLC, program, airline marketing and external agency teams to identify, develop and implement best practice marketing and communication strategies, campaigns, activities and programs that drive improved performance and ROI across the member lifecycle (e.g. new member acquisition, onboarding, program activation, retention) - leveraging relevant media and channels.

Work with external agency partners to help develop, launch and communicate relevant consumer and business brand propositions.

Work with key GLC stakeholders to develop, implement and manage an effective internal marketing and communications strategy, in line with the GLC strategic vision and goals.

Support the GLC Marketing & Brand team in the generation, sharing, dissemination and effective usage of information across GLC (e.g. market research, project updates, bi-monthly Marketing Council).

Utilise internal data / analytics sources and tools to develop and inform more effective marketing strategies, campaigns, activities and programs across the customer lifecycle.

Have a clear understanding of the GLC business and brand strategy.

Ensure an accurate and up-to-date register of GLC, partner and competitor loyalty program product / service features and benefits (matrix).

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Degree educated (ideally in a Marketing, Business or technical-related discipline).

Minimum 4-5 years marketing experience (ideally including digital, data, direct). Product / brand launch and / or loyalty industry experience would be a plus.

Numerate with good analytical skills (and some knowledge of data mining).

Strong problem-solving ability.

Communication and presentation skills.

Good knowledge of MS Office applications (including MS Project).
