Job description
The Las Vegas office of R&R Partners is seeking an Assistant Research Manager that is responsible for gathering, analyzing and interpreting both primary and secondary research in an effort to achieve the marketing and advertising goals of the agency and its clients.
Essential Functions:
§ Supports all department disciplines as needed, to include primary and secondary research, measurement and analytics.
§ Demonstrates an understanding of the various primary and secondary research tools – i.e., surveys, focus groups, online sources, the Internet, etc.
§ Assists in the design and implementation of a variety of primary research studies (i.e., focus groups, phone surveys, intercept interviews, mail surveys) – including the writing of questionnaires, organizing data collection, moderating, analyzing and interpreting data, developing reports and preparing strategic recommendations for both internal and client presentations.
§ Assists on research projects as needed – specifically, assisting with timelines, budgets, goals and objectives, project implementation and evaluation.
§ Collects and compiles demographics, psychographics and other pertinent data for department and agency teams.
§ Identifies industry trends and news related to assigned clients.
§ Develops working relationships with clients and research partners.
§ Integrates research and planning techniques as part of the creative and message development process.
§ Assists in the development of the research portion of client marketing plans, new business presentations and other written documents produced by the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing research, social and behavioral sciences preferred. Two to three years experience in advertising or marketing research or other research-related field. Word, Excel, Power point and Internet a must; Factiva, Nexis, survey programming and data analytics programs helpful.
