Job Description

Responsible for development, management, and profitability of the Company’s Laboratory business unit

Manages the day-to-day operations of the Laboratory business unit.

Develops and implements tools required for efficient delivery of laboratory products and services for all customers/clients.

Oversees the delivery of products and services to existing clients and ensures that the services delivered are of superior quality.

Leads the laboratory sales department to maximize business volume and revenue levels and continually increasing its market share.

Monitors business performance and profitability of individual product ranges and product lines and meeting quantitative targets by month, quarter, and year for the laboratory business unit.

Identifies resources required for the laboratory sales department and ensures they are acquired and provided as required.

Develops back-up plans to compensate for any shortfalls in budgeted revenue levels.

Manages all Sales lines (Clinical, Diagnostic, Food, Oil & Gas, Molecular, and IVF) of laboratory business unit.

Ensures inputs are provided to the Tender Team-Marketing & Business Development department regarding project bid submissions related to the business unit.

Manages end to end Laboratory fit-out projects awarded to the Company.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a medical-related field

5 to 8 years of experience at the Managerial level with a focus on business development, marketing, and/or sales.

A strong background in Molecular Laboratory or equivalent
