Dubai Parks and Resorts is hiring Associate Director – Branding DPR Corporate

Purpose:

Lead the department in planning, developing, implementing integrated marketing campaign strategies and activities for DPR using effective channels and achieving campaign objectives. Direct management of tracking and measurement of marketing campaigns, on time and within budget

Main Duties:

  • Lead relationship with partner agencies to develop, implement and measure online campaigns, optimization and creatives
  • Work with development and design agencies on website and functionality development
  • Delivering the brands’ ambition and business
  • Defining and implementing the brands’ strategy and developing the marketing and brands’ activation plans aligned with business development objectives, domestic and international
  • Delivering and supporting the brands’ strategy & business development with brands’ activation plans, including media, PR, retailtainment, digital and social media platforms and CRM activities
  • Ensuring brands’ deliverables and timings are met by coordinating and work closely together with Parks, Sales, Customer Marketing, Finance and Operations teams.
  • Working closely with owned retail partner as well as 3rd party to ensure seamless delivery of plans, materials, tools on time and in full.
  • Work with VP of Strategic Marketing and marketing teams to develop the regional strategy and integrated brands’ plans
  • To be accountable for the planning execution of all components of the approved strategy and integrated brand plans.
  • Work with the teams to determine overall support levels by product/channels category.
  • Define and coordinate product launch strategy, brands’ calendars and initiatives from initial launch strategy through to pricing strategy, promotional and in-store execution through to post-launch follow up in order to achieve brand visibility, high sell through and substantial in-store ranking within the market.
  • Provide guidance, in conjunction with Sales and Demand Planning, for existing and new products forecast.
  • Define and execute media plans including digital and social media in line with brand priorities and guidelines – maximizing efficiency and deliverables.
  • Develop and monitor annual A&P budgets to ensure we maximize resources, as well as Marketing Calendars and 360 Launch Support, and produce a quarterly reviews and updates of sales and expenses to provide Budget comparison; periodic formal Brand Reviews, Brand Presentations, in collaboration with CMI.
  • Work with Creative, Visual and Commercial teams to create high-quality and flawless execution at marketing/sales campaigns
  • Liaise with Sales Operations, Finance, Regionals / Field, Retailers on a regular basis to ensure implementation of strongest possible programs.
  • Analyze competitive data to determine overall impact of programs and generate ideas / needs for programs moving forward.
  • Conduct various analysis i.e. sell through, profitability, etc. to assess brand performance and make any necessary recommendations for follow up action plan.
  • Analyze impact of tests or changes in merchandising, event, media and program mix to determine effectiveness.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis on an ongoing basis and as required for special requests in collaboration with CMI team.
  • Interface with all internal support groups (Demand Planning, Finance, Sales, Sales Administration, Trade Marketing) as well as external vendors (Media agency, PR agency, Promotional and POS suppliers, etc.)

Essential;

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
  • Strong project management skills; impeccable attention to detail, organization, prioritization, and analytic skills with a proven ability to multitask and manage complexity.
  • Must have strong leadership ability with experience working with varying levels of seniority (domestically and internationally) – dynamic, flexible, positive attitude, and team spirit.
  • Self-Starter attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Experience /knowledge in digital/social media platforms.
  • Excellent written, verbal and virtual communication skills.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with strong coaching and leadership skills for team development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Minimum 5+ years of branding experience, leading marketing/brand teams 
  • Solid understanding of how branding and marketing campaigns are designed, working and measured, experience in graphic design, content creation, media buying/planning and the execution process
