Our platform Bayzat Benefits helps HR Administrators and employees perform HR and health insurance related activities effectively, allowing companies to save time and reduce complexity in their daily workflows.
As a PHP Software Engineer, you will work with our software development team to produce high-quality software and products. Our platform is the core of our offering and you will be responsible for making it better every day. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and are expected to continuously get out of your comfort zone to learn new things and get your hands dirty. More importantly, we want you take pride in the success of Bayzat, as it is under the ownership and responsibility of the entire team and that includes you!
Responsibilities
Develop features and backend functionality using mainly PHP and Symfony4
Maintain existing features, write functional and unit tests
Cooperate closely with other team members to deliver high quality code
Deliver projects on time and at a high-quality level
Contribute ideas to product development
Constantly think about improving the Bayzat customer experience
Use your critical-thinking abilities to guarantee product quality
Required Skills & Experience

You should be comfortable with the following technologies and methodologies:
1) PHP OOP Object-oriented PHP 5.5+ and experience with Symfony2 (preferred), CodeIgniter or Laravel
2) TDD/BDD Familiar with test-driven and behavior-driven development
3) GIT Good knowledge of git source version control system
4) CI Familiar with Continuous Integration
5) Creating REST APIs, writing scripts, database normalization and optimization
