Requirements

Experience: 5 – 15 years in hotel / hotel apartment sales – heading the team

Education: Any Graduation / Post Graduation

Age: less than 45 years

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Seeking opportunities for business development within a defined area or sector.
  • Responsible for heading up company’s expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients.
  • Driving peak performance and sales success across the organization.
  • Creating, negotiating and closing commercial agreements.
  • Instrumental in devising and implementing the strategy for meeting sales performance targets.
  • Implementing sales strategies across the hotel and monitoring effectiveness.
  • Keeping a close eye on the sales activities of competitors and utilizing ideas where appropriate.
  • Overseeing performance management of sales team.
  • Implementing a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales.
  • Working with the management on budgeting and planning.
  • Negotiating agreements for contracts with customers.
  • Implementing an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process.
  • Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the department.
  • Responsible for the overall management of all strategic and operational marketing and customer relationship activities.
  • Provides market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
  • Take ownership of the management of the sales functions of the business.
  • Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the company`s ambitious growth.
  • Working to stringent targets and adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to clients.
  • Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets.

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Current experience in a similar role in UAE
  • Relevant education on business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or a related field is required
  • Natural leader with an ability to inspire performance with sales teams.
  • Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results to business plans.
  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Financial management and strategic planning skills
  • Strong network of connections
  • Ability to work well under time pressure and/or demanding travel schedules.
  • A passion for sales and target-based performance.
  • Strong negotiation skills and creative selling ability.
  • With valid UAE driver’s license
  • Fluency in English is essential, fluency in other European languages or Arabic would be an advantage
