Job description
The Senior Consultant in the Forensics department will be expected to:
· Assist in outsourced compliance jobs
· Assist in other assignments with financial services including but not limited to:
- expert witness reports
- investigations
- forensic reviews
- feasibility studies
- business valuations
· Write reports, business plans and documentation for clients in DIFC or otherwise
· Assist in developing company systems and regulatory advices
· Assist in reviewing risk policies, procedures, systems and controls and compliance with GTI standards
· Work on day-to-day operations for compliance with the firm's policies, procedures, systems and controls
· Review client acceptance documentation prior to new engagement and provide recommendation on the associated risks
Competencies:
· Knowledge and ability to use proficiently standard office computer software, including word-processing, databases and spreadsheets
· Excellent communication skills
· Fluent in written & spoken English
· Practical knowledge of professional standards
· Well-developed organization and time management skills, and the ability to work on own initiative, accurately to tight deadlines, and to prioritize between conflicting demands
· Ability to work independently
Required experience & qualifications:
· Have minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial services industry
· Knowledge and experience of applying local laws and regulations
· Should hold a professional degree in finance, CA, CPA, CFA (preferred) or equivalent.
