Embargo Countries Project Lead

Our client, a global leader in the Animal Health Industry is currently looking for an Embargo Countries Project Lead to join their team based in Dubai . The responsibility of the Embargo Countries Project Lead business is to achieve and exceed the projected figures of the territories in Poultry as well as providing support to the other species.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver the annual sales target and action plan by Embargo Countries
  • Central person for all issues related to the Embargo countries
  • Understand each of the individual country’s business models, requirements, market needs and competitive environment
  • Involvement in the development of forecasts
  • Manage payments and receivables
  • Develop and update the strategic and business plan
  • To continually research business development opportunities and activities to increase the critical mass with local adapted products
  • Have a deep understanding of all aspects of the Embargo country business
  • Proactively develop more business with the Key Accounts within the territory
  • Establish strong relationships with the decision makers in Key Account organisations developing true business partnerships
  • Essential Skills and Experience: 
  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in Key Account Management in Embargo Countries
  • Previous Sales experience within the Animal Health/Poultry industry in a customer focused environment essential
  • Excellent planning and problem solving skills
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
  • Customer focused
  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in Marketing and Finance would be considered advantageous
  • The successful candidate will ideally be an experienced sales professional with exposure to commercial operations in different cultures. Focused and driven, you will continually look to improve customer experiences through flexible business practices.

Significant travel will be required to successfully perform this role.
