Job opportunity for Senior Brand Manager with redBus

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about communication, technology and has an entrepreneurial spirit.

The job entails creating and managing a strong brand via above-the-line and below-the-line efforts in order to generate awareness, consideration and purchase for redBus in India and International Markets

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

6-8 years of relevant work experience in marketing/ brand marketing/ marketing communication
MBA(with Marketing/Communication specialization) or an equivalent degree

Experience in Marketing, Communication, Brand Management. Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Role

ü Brand Strategy and Communication Management
-         Launch Hero, Hub & Hygiene brand campaigns in India and internationally
-         Focus on campaign planning, execution and measurement
-         Overall brand positioning & consumer targeting strategy & tactics
-         Understand and translate brand/product strategy to marketing activities
-         Research & insights and their application to redBus products and marketing
-         Ad campaign development and execution
-         Monitoring tools and metrics for brand and business performance
-         Maintain & execute a monthly communication calendar

ü Media Strategy, Planning & execution
-         Planning and strategy for TV, Digital, Print, Radio, Outdoors etc
-         Focus on Digital brand building with a paid, earned, owned media approach
-         Understand the workings of Facebook & GDN Ad platforms
-         Media & Creative optimization
-         Keen eye on measurement and attribution

ü Brand Activation
-         Conceptualise and execute on-ground marketing activities
-         Work with regional teams to increase visibility of brand among consumers, bus operators and agents
-         Create and execute trade events to raise profile of redBus among agents, bus operators etc
-         New initiatives to employ retail marketing methods to raise company’s profile in the market
-         Create synergistic alliances with other companies to facilitate new means of sales
-         Ideate and execute sales promotions and offers to help online and offline sales

ü Public Relations
-         Manage company’s reputation with business and consumer media
-         Conduct ongoing relationship with journalists and bloggers
-         Write and disseminate press releases
-         Monitor and measure PR efforts
-         Conduct media conferences and blogger engagement programmes

ü Vendor & Agency Management
-         Be the primary contact for all ATL, Digital, BTL, Creative & Research agencies
-         Manage processes and performance w.r.t. agencies
-         Manage vendors, contracts and rates

Continuous Improvement

ü Develop innovative initiatives to enhance internal efficiencies and effectiveness
ü Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on customer engagements
Manage allocated marketing budget to optimize spending in various areas, and maintain day-to-day hygiene of funds.
