We are pleased to announce an extremely exciting opportunity for an IT Data Manager Analyst to join our growing Technology and Innovation division.
The IT Data Manager will determine policy and give direction to ensure data quality & integrity, maximize the use of data, and minimize the costs associated with data collection and data management. Working closely with business information stewards and IT partners, the GLC IT Data Manager will create the policy for metadata, identify data which is a GLC resource and ensure data quality through data propagation and validation policies.
You will add immediate value by supporting our Global Loyalty Company with several high impact and business critical technology programs. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience working within a similar capacity, ideally for an Aviation group.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBLITIES
- Ensure data quality and governance programs are implemented, enabling re-use of data across the business.
- Work with GLC business and specifically Head of Data Analytics to determine the business requires for IT solutions to support them.
- Develop and enforce standards for maintaining GLC data
- Develop data and function modeling standards and procedures
- Facilitate the change management process for all GLC data.
- identifying security requirements and assisting with the identification of data security procedures and policies
- Establish policies and strategies governing access, retention, and disposition of GLC data
- Support GLC Data Analytics team to identify data sources and establishing connectivity
- Work with 3rd party partners to establish a world class Data Services capability to support the GLC vision.
- Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure services is delivered according to agreed standards and on budget
- Identify and manage costs related to the assigned technology to ensure proper tracking and monitoring and contribute to cost optimization
GENERAL RESPONSBILITIES
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure support in the delivery of services and portfolio projects

- Identify and highlight to project managers risks/issues to provide timely communication and contribute to prompt resolution
- Support in defining the business technology plans to ensure consistency and alignment across the different initiatives and programs
- Contribute to the definition of change requests portfolio in order to develop a roadmap consistent with planned initiatives and available resources
- Manage and assign resources to the planned initiatives to ensure they are properly staffed and resource needs timely raised
- Identify and highlight to senior management risks/issues impacting the delivery of agreed services and projects to contribute to their timely resolution
- Report to senior management and relevant business stakeholders on services delivered and main performance indicators to provide accurate communication on delivered activities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and portfolio architects to ensure service delivered is aligned with business needs
- Guide, lead and coach the assigned team to contribute to skill and people development and ensure high level of performance
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Bachelor Degree or a diploma (3 years).
- Knowledge of main project management methodologies is preferred
- Minimum of 7 years experience in relevant field.
