Chief Officer - Recruitment

• Develop, implement, and administer short and long term recruitment strategies.
• Liaise, advise and support Directors and Managers within the Authority through all stages of the recruitment process.
• Develop recruitment plans for the responsible Agency in accordance to the approved budget.
• Handle recruitment activities for all levels which include sourcing, screening, interviewing and hiring of candidates.
• Identify current and prospective recruitment requirements, prepare post notices and advertisements, collect and screen application.
• Prepare Job profile for vacancies, update and add to recruitment database and provide reports when it’s required.
• Ensure that all recruitment processes are met at the agreed service levels i.e. time, quality and cost.
• Proactively recruit candidates utilizing a variety of sources including, local and international recruitment agencies, job or career fairs, employee referrals, Human Resources and Development agencies and other additional cost-effective sources.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with recruitment agencies and universities.
• Supervise the recruitment team members in developing selection criteria for application screening.
• Coach and train any new employee within the Recruitment section.
• Study and analyse the current recruitment and selection implementation by reviewing best practices for employment, implement and communicate improvements, and document policies and procedures.
• Participate in solving any problem related to recruitment section in order to enhance the services provided to other agencies.
• Organize documents with an excellent filing system, maintain confidentiality of all work and maintain employment requested files.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position when appropriate.

Skills

• Bachelor in Business Administration or related qualification from a recognized university.
• 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
• Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing.
• Resourceful team player who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent tasks.
