Duties and responsibilities:
- Maintaining and adding new features to existing Magento sites.
- Fixing bugs in the backend system and live websites.
- Developing a new custom sites from scratch.
- Converting PSD to HTML/CSS and Magento templates.
- Carrying out thorough testing prior to making new code live.
- Developing mobile App's for our existing sites.
- Troubleshooting performance issues and optimizing existing code.
Essential Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience.
- Setting up of LAMP environments for testing and configuring web applications.
- Familiarity with setting up AWS / Google Cloud environments.
- Security conscious, must be able to write secure optimized code, sql-injection proof.
- Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and Ajax.
- Strong OO PHP 5 / Zend Framework knowledge.
- In depth understanding of MySQL, Percona Server for MySQL, LiteSpeed, Apache, APC, Zend Optimizer.
- Experienced in developing and customizing Magento extensions.
- Experience of REST & SOAP API's.
- iOS & Android App development experience welcomed.
