The “Analyst Business Transformation Air Freight” is a new role in GIL aimed at providing business leadership for one or more elements of FOCiS, using “Agile” IT development methodology.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Very good proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power Point.
WORK HOURS AND ENVIRONMENT
Normal working hours for this position are Sunday-Thursday (normal UAE working hours), however, working beyond these days might be required by business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work as part of the Air Freight Agile Team and provide input to various transformation work streams based on documented requirements and approach agreed with Air Freight Product Management
- Help design the future business processes by:
- Establishing “next level down” network-wide requirements for business process and systems standardization
- Meeting with key stakeholders, cross-functional leaders, and other process and systems owners to gather best practices and develop, coordinate and communicate direction and feedback
- Working with the Air Freight Agile team to represent the business view in developing detailed business and/or systems requirements through face-to-face meetings and video conference sessions
- Assisting in the management of Product Backlog, Sprints, Epics, and host Sprint Reviews/Retrospectives
- Ensure the Air Freight Module evolves to align with and support up-/downstream FOCiS modules and requirements (e.g. Quotation, Job Processing, Job Accounting, etc.)
- Participate in country implementations and gap analysis, training sessions and user engagements;
JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years’ experience in freight forwarding, expertise in Air Freight is a plus
- Strong process orientation – ability to analyze and document requirements
- Ability to drive projects and timelines
- Strong soft skills – communication, collaboration, team work, cultural sensitivity
- Resiliency in adjusting to a dynamic working environment
- Understands strategic product vision
- Available bandwidth to take on work and travel to various locations in the Agility network including Hyderabad (development center)
- Multilingual skills preferred but not a must.
