The role provides support to the infrastructure and operations functions within IT to ensure that technology solutions are deployed and managed to meet changing business needs in cost-effective ways.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- University degree qualification in IT related field or equivalent work experience, with minimum 4 years in IT infrastructure and/or operations roles.
- Extensive IT technical knowledge including networking, firewalls, WAN optimization & QoS; Microsoft server and enterprise technologies;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and O365 cloud solutions;
- Knowledge of Linux configuration and administration; Databases; Cyber-security; SAN storage; Server and blade hardware
- Knowledge of Backup & replication technologies and VMware virtualization.
- Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills to engage with both IT and business staff.
- Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent technical problem investigation and solving abilities, with ability to proactively analyse and resolve technical issues independently.
- Able to manage time and prioritize workloads under pressure.
- ITIL v3 Certified or similar: Globally recognized collection of best practices for IT Management.
- Able to work outside of normal office hours when required by the business to support, deploy or maintain IT Infrastructure and Azure Cloud systems.
